Hello everyone, I want to share my experience with Google disabling my Google adsense ads due to copyright violation etc and how I got Google to re-enable my ads the same day.

About 4.17 A.M. this morning on 2nd of August, 2013; it was a scary morning for me. As always, I receive tons of emails but one mail got me shocked an email from Google with the subject title ''Google AdSense ad serving has been disabled to your site'' on my smartphone  :o

oh boy sharply I jumped up from my bed and switched on my PC without even saying my morning prayers  :-X God forgive me ohhh lol, I checked my website and noticed my google adsense ads has been disabled not displaying anymore   :o :o :o :o due to copyright stories of violation  ::)

I fired up my Mozilla browser logged into my AdSense to check my earning also. There was an alert message with caution sign. The message title was “Google AdSense ad serving has been disabled to your site” and the message:

    Hello,

This email is to alert you that one of your websites is not currently in compliance with our AdSense program policies and as a result, ad serving has been disabled to your website.

    Issue ID#: (removed)

Ad serving has been disabled to: infoseye.com

Example page where violation occurred: (removed)

Action required: Check all other remaining sites in your account for compliance.

Current account status: Active (Lucky me  ;D)

    Violation explanation

COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL: As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on sites involved in the distribution of copyrighted materials. This includes hosting copyrighted files on your site, as well as providing links for or driving traffic to sites that contain copyrighted material. More information about this policy can be found in our help center ( You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login ).

Action required: Check account for compliance

While ad serving has been disabled to the above site, your AdSense account remains active. Please be aware that the URL above is just an example and that the same violations may exist on other pages of this website or other sites you own. Therefore, we suggest that you take the time to review the rest of your sites to ensure that they’re in compliance with our policies, and to monitor your sites accordingly to reduce the likelihood of future policy emails from us. Additionally, please note that our team reserves the right to disable accounts at any time if we continue to see violations occurring.

    Appeals

If you wish to appeal this disabling then you can do so by using the Issue ID listed above to contact us via our Help Center: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    The Google AdSense Team

So, AdSense ads were disabled on my website  >:(, but fortunately account was active  ;). The post that violated AdSense terms was about the links for Windows 7 & 8 OS download  ;D The message clearly states that the mentioned post was just an example.

There are many reasons to get AdSense disabled on a site. On my account it was copyrighted material. I was suggested to take the time and remove copyrighted materials, and then appeal to re-enable the AdSense.

I have published over 30 posts. I started checking all the posts for violation and deleted about 25 posts. I was already working on my blog to remove less useful content.

Sharply without dulling I composed a mail and sent it to Google, I made an appeal. I used this link You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login . The form has five fields; name, Publisher ID, Issue ID, Affected site URL and what I have made to my site in order to comply with AdSense program policies.

In this form; first four fields have fix answers but last filed. In that last field, I could have filled with so many details as importance of AdSense and the list of deleted URLs, but I filled it with only what I have done and what I am doing to my site. So what was in my appeal? Well.

I have manually reviewed over 30 posts in total, and deleted about 25 posts.

I had already deleted over 30 posts for various reasons before ad-serving was disabled.

I am working on my old posts to make them more useful by adding new content, and removing less useful content as images, links, texts and comments.

As you can see this form doesn’t ask for contact information. So it was necessary for me to login with AdSense email before submitting the form.

After submitting the form, I received an email from AdSense team.

    Hello,

Thanks for contacting Google AdSense. This an automated reply to let you
know that we’ve received your appeal request.

It looks like you’d like to appeal the disabling of You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
While we’re unable to respond personally to this particular message,
please rest assured that your request has been submitted for appeal and
one of our policy specialists will be reviewing it soon.

Please note that while we will take your comments into consideration when
evaluating your website, there is no guarantee that ad serving will be
    re-enabled.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Sincerely,

    The Google AdSense Team

Now, I was waiting for the reply from Google AdSense team with my heartbeat beating hoping not to receive bad news from Google adsense Team  :-[ :-[ :-[.

At 6pm on my way home from work, I received another email from the team.

    Hello,

Thank you for making the requested changes to your site in order to comply
with our policies. After thoroughly reviewing infoseye.com, we have now
re-enabled ad serving to this site.

Because ad serving to your site was temporarily disabled, you many notice
a delay of up to 48 hours or more before ads begin appearing on your site
again. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    The Google AdSense Team

;D ;D ;D Yeah finally I could rest because of the time, energy and handwork I have put into my website today is Friday so by Monday my google ads should be up and running again till then I will keep you updated!

I do hope my experience this morning will be a lesson to others to learn from and how to solve such if anyone find themselves in such position if you such an email from Google Adsense Team.

Thank you & Have a wonderful weekend!

@ Info Seye - I congratulate you and share in your joy.  As Yomiprof has rightly advised, you must comply with Adsense policy to the latter because where there is no law there is no iniquity...

Best regards.

I have got this kind of message twice before but they didn't ban me instead, they just gave me three working days to remove the materials or url were the violation had occured.

While I am editing my site, the ads continue showing as if nothing happened and they specifically tell me that once I have made the corrections before the three days, I shouldn't contact them. It will just be no inconveniences at all.

I started having a feeling that adsense has taken a liking for me!!!!

Anyways, congrats infoseye but policy really matters

Seye thanks so much for the effort and time you put in to compose this very detailed explanation of how to fix a disabled adsense account. I am sure this will be of help to others out there. Am glad that your adsense was re-nabled. May your AdSense never be disabled again. AMEN
