Is It Wise To Start A blog on same hosting account?

Why I ask is because I was recently banned by adsense but would want to give them a try.

I want to start A new blog totally but host it on the same hostgator account with the old blog.

I transferred my old blog from whogohost to hostgator so now I want to start another. So what do you think?

Every hosting account has an IP address associated with it (this is the IP address of the DNS server that links your domain name to the host). If its a shared hosting, you normally have several websites sharing same ip address but if its VPS or dedicated, you usually have your own IP so all the sites you create under that account will all use that IP.

It is widely believed that Google probably uses the IP address of the site to track accounts that might be related to each other. Although this is pure speculation based on logical guessing, here is what I would do if it were me:

If its a shared hosting and you are sure that every other detail concerning the domain of the new blog is entirely different from your previous blog then you can go ahead and create a new blog under same account. (Name, phone, address, email associated with the new domain must be entirely different from the other domain)

If you are on VPS or dedicated hosting with your own unique IP then it is best to buy a new hosting account for your new blog.

Leave it for God, don't worry yourself. Leave it for God, don't cry no more.

thanks boss,

I was using whogohost before adsense banned me. I switched to hostgator, would it be different Ip address now since its no longer whogohost hosting my site?

Also, I am still planning to get the domain. I can use totally different details. That's no problem I guess?

I contacted hostgator to ask if they would have same IP or separate IP address for the two domains. Still waiting for their reply

I see that your adsense account has been reinstated so you probably no longer have need for a response to this thread, but let me just answer your questions anyway:
