:-[ This might not be what you expect, and I am not proud to tell you this: my google adsense is disabled.

You asked why? or was it How?

I think it may have been because I embedded links to Amazon in my blog post but am not sure.

How do I get another adsense account. Remember that it was with a novel approach that I got my disabled adsense account.

Note that I am starting to like adsense. Help me find a way out.

my blog is You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login you might see the state it is now, if you are fast enough. Before I 'dismantle' it.

The simple why is putting amazon link in the blog. I am later finding out the two, adsense and amazon don't blend.
Dismantle the whole blog? No, I may remove the amazon links except I receive a contrary counsel. soon.

Hahaha. My broda u ar so funny... Dnt just dismantle d blog abeg. Wait let expert in d blog adsense com and give u advise. I make use of wordpress and since google intentionally frown at me, i want to intentionally dismembered my site and automatically move all my content to blogger, and turn d original site to a News magazine site. A little more patient please.

Hello Mr Joe,

First of all very sorry for what happened to you. I can imagine how painfully disappointing it must have felt. However, I'm quite certain that it had nothing to do with the Amazon links on your website. To be double sure, please post the message that was sent to you about the disabling.

If you ask me, I'll say it has more to do with the mix up of your old and new adsense accounts and the resulting confusion as highlighted in this your post in another thread: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

With AdSense one needs to be very very careful. You should also read Aweriale's response just below yours in the post. Google is very strict with these sort of double accounts and they have very sophisticated ways of detecting such (which may not always be accurate from your point of view). The docstoc method is suitable for brand new accounts and you must make sure to wipe all traces to any old accounts or any other google/adsense accounts that have been accessed from the same computer previously.

What to do now
No matter how painful it is, the only thing you can do now is to move forward by starting all over again using a new name, address, email and phone. Although you cannot use the same website anymore, you can actually export your posts to a new blogger website and use it there. Do the following:

1. If you wish to use the old posts from your banned website, first of all Export the blog (See how to export: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login ). After exporting, you should delete the old blog to prevent duplicate content issues in the future.

2. Reformat your system if you are using your personal computer to wipe off all traces of any old accounts.

3. Reapply via docstoc with the new name, email and other details. During this process, a new Google account will also be created.

4. Log in to blogger using your new account and Create a New blog. Remember you must never access any other google/blogger/adsense account with the same computer else the cookies will link them together and if one ever gets banned it will affect all the others.

5. Import the downloaded file from the old exported blog into the new blog

6. Add some new posts and wait for 2 or three weeks.

7. Add the adsense codes from the new adsense account (assumed to have been approved via docstoc)

Leave it for God, don't worry yourself. Leave it for God, don't cry no more.

Sir Tony, pls let me be clear of this statement, did you mean that we can have Adsense account with Amazon link on a single site?

@Lateef: Yes you can. But its best not to have way too many Amazon links in comparison to actual content because too many affiliate links (not only amazon) compared to volume of content might affect your page's rank in search

Sir, I cant really understand your statement. pls put more light.

Here is a simple example of what I mean:

If you have a post of 400 words then the volume of content minus sidebars and other extras can be said to be 400 words. Now if within that post (or on the page) there are 20 Amazon links, that might be too much. But if it has 3 or 4 links within it then thats reasonable.

(20 links  divided by 400 words) = 5% density = too high

4 links/400 words = 1% density = OK

1% - 3% density okay, fewer the better

5% and above = Risky

Note: This also applies to all types of affiliate links

Hope this makes sense???
