Clicks on Amazon

Please, see my effort so far. I have received up to 65 clicks but no order yet. Am I on the right track? What else do I need to do so that those customers can make order?

Richman,
I was expecting you to do a screenshot of your impressions that your webpage had already gotten. Seriously, with the information you have given here, it would be hard to know. Before your question can be answered, I need to know your source of traffic? How you crafted your webpage?

But, that asides. You can conclude based on 65 clicks. You need 100 clicks to know your conversions. If after 100 clicks, 1 person buys. It means your webpage converts at 1%. Then you will then try and tweak to know what aspect of it you will want to change to improve your conversions.

If you can work on your traffic and conversions, you've cracked the code to your goldmine online. You'll just keep sending traffic. But, don't forget the price of whatever you're promoting also play a major part in all of these too.Low prices converts better.

I hope this helps. Any more question ?ask.

The prices ranges between $1,850-$3,000. It is even 119 clicks now but still no order yet. Is the price too much going by it.

Should I go for other products with lower prices?

Again, how do see the impression clicks that my webpages are getting?
Thanks

What's your traffic source? How many reviews does the product you're promoting have? You see, it's very hard before you can see conversion on HIGH priced products, but that does not say you shouldn't try it out.

The reason being that you need just one sale to break even. But, if the product does not have reviews or sufficient positive ones,I'll advise you to promote another one. You'll do well promoting above $100 product.

Another of my trick is promoting Amazon.co.uk (pounds being higher than Dollar). But, US traffic converts the best. That's another disadvantage to using UK Amazon.

I want to commend you on taking actions, if you continue like this.Sky is the limit.

All the best,
Olajide

Sure. Just do a review and make sure the product has a lot of reviews. Send traffic and see if it converts. You can also create another site for promoting cheap stuff, so that the percentages of the commission you're paid is increased on time.

Higher priced items can give big commissions but depending on the type of product and your website traffic source and review type (plus other factors), may not get frequent buyers. You can go with the $100 to $300 range. For us our highest selling products of high cost usually range around $300 to $600

Like Olajide suggested, you should also try promoting cheaper items which may not give you much commission but since they are bought more frequently, will increase your percentage commission (remember that the more items you sell, the higher commission you will get based on the earning percentages that Amazon uses).

In summary a mix of high and low price items (on same or separate websites) is the best way to go. Some of our websites are there just to boost our number of products sold and hence our percentage commission. The increased percentage commission will have an impact on commissions from the fewer higher priced items.

Hope that makes sense?
