I woke up early hours of the morning, as I was surfing the net I came across this-"The Minister for Petroleum, Mrs Alison
Diezani has announced the reduction of the
price of Petrol in Nigeria from N97 to N87

Reduction to N87/litre is still on the higher side.  What will bring appreciable cushion to people's suffering is for petrol price to be reduced to N50/litre.  As it is now, at N87/litre there will be no reduction in the cost of transportation as everything will be business as usual.

These are just election shenanigans. I know the price will go back up when the election is over and if Jonathan wins. Meanwhile I'm still buying at N100 per litre from pumps that have even been tampered with, so like Aare said, its still business as usual.
