The CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart ) code system that is often seen as a hassle by many, is now a thing of past. Google has now introduced a new version of the system, which is being  called "No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA."

By using this new system, a user now will be given a tickbox to check, as opposed to the earlier system of deciphering distorted text and rewriting it. This new system also observes each user's behavior after which it is filtered.

Vinay Shet, the product manager of reCAPTCHA, explained this new mechanism in a blog post. According to him, "While the new reCAPTCHA API may sound simple, there is a high degree of sophistication behind that modest checkbox." Google has claimed that this new feature will make things easier for mobile users, and allow them to tap photos of turkeys or cats instead of having to enter distorted text.

The new reCAPTCHA has already been launched and is used on sites such as Wordpress, Snapchat, Humble Bundle to name a few. But there is a catch to this new system, explained Shet as he wrote, "In cases when the risk analysis engine can't confidently predict whether a user is a human or an abusive agent, it will prompt a CAPTCHA to elicit more cues, increasing the number of security checkpoints to confirm the user is valid."

A study done last year had found that present day Artificial Intelligence technology is capable of solving the most complex of CAPTCHA codes with a 99.8 per cent accuracy.

Captchas are even more annoying when you can't seem to get the code right and it keeps bringing up new codes.

I just wasted the last 30 minutes trying to open a yahoo email address but could not succeed because after filling the signup form, the captcha kept telling me that I entered the wrong code. I finally gave up after several tries.

Same happened yesterday though so I suspect that it is an issue with their captcha server and not that I was entering the wrong code.

All the same I hate Captchas and will be glad to see them gone from the earth.

Leave it for God, don't worry yourself. Leave it for God, don't cry no more.
