Sorry for that unfortunate incident. As for your question, I strongly advice you don't disable search engine visibility provided you have some quality post already even though you will be offline for sometimes. Disabling it will retard your blog progress.

Just like what ojekunle said, there is no need to disable your search engine  visibility, because in many ways it would be a drawback in your site, especially fro google.

Yes, your lappy is soaked with water, but there are better options of updating your blog than leaving it to rot in the cyberspace. Even, if you have good content, and I tend to come across your site. Let say" I found some article that interests me and I try bookmarking your blog to come back to it another day". Now, tell me; if I am back and never saw any changes to what I saw the last time. Do you think I will want to come back to that blog again.

My suggestion is that look for a cafe and continue your blogging. You just have to be extremely careful. If you are thinking of the expenses, you can opt in for night browsing.

Thank you.

@ Oluwatobi-coded  -  You should be guided by the advice of the experienced members of the forum accordingly.  Disable search engine visibility will be suicidal and at the same time you should find means to update your blog probably by going to cyber cafe of better still get a cheaper desk-top computer which will not more than N15,000.00 (all embracing - CPU, Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse)

Best regards,

oluwatobi-coded please enable search engine visibility as a matter of urgency because once Google blocks your site off, it can take months to recover from it.
