Title: Add A Second Admin To Word press Site
Post by: [Not Shown, Login to View] on Jul 20, 2018
I want to add a second admin to my wordpress site so that he can also post on it but I am thinking of the possibility of him kicking me out and steal my site.

Now, is there a way I can do this without the admin being unable to remove me and steal my site?

You don't need to add a second admin for that purpose. You can create the new account and make the role to be Contributor or Author. That way they get limited access only to the posting areas of the backend.

Thank you Administrator Tony for your answer on this issue.
I have a similar issue. The people that helped set up my sitter still have the admin password. They were supposed to make the site up and running, but since they were not cooperating, I have been posting content myself on the site.  Since they still have the original password, can they hurt the site in any way, or should I proceed to change the password to ensure they no longer have access to the site?

@Yemdollar: There is no way to tell if the people that built the site will do something or not so to be on the safest side, change the admin password if they are not accessing it.
