Windows 10 is coming on 29 July

This is a free upgrade for those on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.  Stated below are how to upgrade:

First step to upgrading: All those with genuine and updated Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 OS will see the "Get Windows 10 App" on their PCs, tablets, mobiles. The app gives an option to reserve. The app appears as a Windows icon on the right hand side of the taskbar.

Windows 10 will bring back Start menu. Once you reserve, you will be prompted when the upgrade rolls out. You can also set a time as to when you want to download Windows 10 (Source: Microsoft) ALSO READ: Not that easy for Microsoft.

Windows 10 is also brings Cortana with it. You can cancel the reservation any time. Sadly those who are running Pirated OS will have to pay for Windows 10. The upgrade will take over 20 minutes on new devices and over one hour on older devices, says Microsoft. Of course all of this depends on your Internet connection.

Windows 7 Home, Basic users will get Windows 10 Home edition. Windows 8.1 users will get Windows 10 Home as well. Those on professional versions of Windows 7 or 8.1 will get the Windows 10 Pro update.

In order to know if your device is compatible, you can use the Get Windows 10 app to do a compatibility check. Click the menu in the upper left of the app, and select “Check your PC” or “Your PC is good to go.” It will give details of what the minimum specs requirements are for Windows 10.
