Post by: [Not Shown, Login to View] on Mar 18, 2018
Hello everyone, been using the replies to past questions and they have been really helpful, Thanks to everyone contributing and admins.

well im having issues with the google keyword planner, watched some youtube videos here on the new keyword planner when it was newly implemented and i noticed its quite different from the one im currently trying to grasp (especially the top of page bid low range and high range columns). just want to know if there is any existing tutorial on the latest version of it that ive missed on here or what i could do to understand it in relation to  the MOB course. my keyword research and getting a profitable niche is the next step for me.

THANKS

in addition, i just watched the youtube video on not using keyword tools for keyword research and from that video it really advises not to use keyword tools as their results could be inaccurate most times. whats your take on this.

Hello Bajo93,

We do not yet have a good video tutorial for the new keyword tool yet but as soon as we find one we will definitely post it. But in the meantime you can try searches on Google like Using Google Keyword Planner Tutorial 2018 and I am sure a few relevant results will come up.

Regarding the video on not using keyword tools, the truth is there are advantages and disadvantages but what we do is have a mix of the two as in obtain some keywords using the free keyword tools and getting some other keywords with the Google method explained in the video. If you are starting a new site you may want to mix the two but with special attention to the Google suggested searches because those can give you great long tail keywords that may prove easy to rank for.
