Title: Pay Per Click Fraud.
Post by: [Not Shown, Login to View] on Nov 20, 2017
Since I have decided to use PPC to drive targeted traffic to my site, I have to consider some factors that could lead to loss of money. One of the factors I considered is PPC fraud.

I learnt from a couple of people that competitors may unnecessarily click on your ads just to cost you money and reduce your budget.

To operate a successful ppc campaign, I want to know how to avoid this fraud. How can I prevent or reduce PPC fraud and increase my ROI?

Unfortunately there's nothing much you can do about this other than pray against it. Also depending on the network you are advertising through, they may have some measures in place to detect it. But it is not as widespread as you seem to fear.

Just make sure you are using a trustworthy network but this is still not 100% fool proof

I am using bing ads. I have inquired from them and they told me that they have a team that takes care of that and when they detects, they will block that IP from showing the ads. They said I should not worry about it.

Thanks.
